Bird Banding on July 2 (7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), located at Gatewood Preserve, Calvert County, MD – Join naturalists for a behind-the-scenes look at bird research through the Monitoring Avian Productivity and Survivorship (MAPS) program. Fireworks Cruise on July 3 (7:30 p.m.), departing from Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort Marina, 4155 Mears Ave, Chesapeake Beach, MD – Set sail aboard the Miss Lizzy for an unforgettable evening on the Bay with front-row views of the Chesapeake Beach fireworks display.
