
ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. — This summer, the St. Mary’s County Library system is bringing families a season full of free, live entertainment with its 2025 Summer Performers series. From music and magic to puppets, theater and reptiles, these fun and educational shows are perfect for all ages — and no tickets are required. With performances held at local libraries and community venues across the county, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Mr. Jon Concert
High-energy music and dancing for kids and families with Mr. Jon and puppet sidekick George the Monkey.

Puppets Grizzelina and Grizzelino introduce young audiences to opera in a fun, musical story format.

The Wizard of Oz (Bright Star Theatre)
A playful, interactive retelling of the classic story with laughs, lessons and familiar characters.
