CALIFORNIA, Md. — Southern Maryland residents are invited to kick back and connect with their community at the first-ever Thirsty Thursday at AeroPark, a block party happening Thursday, July 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s County Regional Airport in California, Maryland.
The event, hosted by St. Mary’s Liquid Assets in partnership with St. Mary’s County Economic Development, Visit St. Mary’s MD and the Maryland Department of Commerce, will feature live music by Squid Inc., food from Bird Dog Bistro and a curated selection of local craft beer, wine, spirits and juices.
“This event brings together innovation, aviation and the best of our local beverage scene. It’s free, open to the public and perfect for an after-work wind-down with friends, coworkers and neighbors,” organizers said.
Held just outside the airport terminal at 44200 Airport Road, the open-air gathering is free and open to the public. In case of rain, the festivities will shift inside to the TechPort Hangar, located at 44185 Airport Road.

Thirsty Thursday at AeroPark is part of a new monthly series designed to support local beverage producers and STEM initiatives in Southern Maryland. Additional dates are already scheduled for Aug. 7 and Sept. 18.
