Three Southern Marylanders, one from St. Maryโs and two from Charles, were among names released early this morning of the 12 people shot to death at the Washington Navy Yard yesterday.
Kenneth Proctor, 46, of Waldorf was a Charles County native. He was a civilian utilities foreman at the Navy Yard. His wife Evelyn told the Associated Press that he didnโt work in the building where the shooting took place but it was routine for him to go there for breakfast. They were high school sweethearts and had been married for almost 20 years. They had two teenage sons.
Sylvia Frasier, 53, of Charles County was a network security administrator at Naval Sea Systems Command. She was the daughter of James and Eloise Frasier of Prince Georgeโs County.
Frank Kohler, 50, of Tall Timbers was reportedly married with two daughters. It is not known at this time what he was doing at the Navy Yard.
