HOLLYWOOD, Md. – On February 8, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Three Notch Road in the area of Airport View Drive.
Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles involved in the collision with multiple occupants injured and one trapped. Firefighters went to work stabilizing, then began extrication.
The trapped occupant was extricated within 15 minutes and turned over to EMS for care.
Emergency services evaluated three patients on the scene. All three patients were transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
Shortly later, a second serious collision occurred in Hollywood.
