On Sept. 20, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Senior Deputy First Class Michael Peacher was patrolling Millison Plaza in Lexington Park, when he observed Jeffrey Montgomery Travers, 50 of Lexington Park, sitting on the sidewalk consuming an alcoholic beverage.
Sdfc. Peacher was very familiar with Jeffrey Travers’ as Sdfc. Peacher had previously served Travers with a no trespassing notice for Millison Plaza on July, 25.
Sdfc. Peacher made contact with Travers. Travers’ appeared to be very intoxicated and was in possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage.
Sdfc. Peacher contacted the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters and confirmed the no trespassing notice was still in effect for Travers for Millison Plaza.
Travers was arrested and charge with trespassing and consuming alcoholic beverages where prohibited.
