The two men suspected of assaulting two Solomons Island residents with a vehicle on May 13 of this year have been apprehended.
Robert A. Mister, 37 of Lexington Park and Wayne C. Jones, 22 of Leonardtown, were both arrested on warrants issued for the attempted first degree murder of Dale L. Tomco and Raymond J. Tomco, Jr. of Solomons Island.
Mister and Jones apparently got into a verbal argument with the Tomcos in front of the Tomco residence at about 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 13.
The argument escalated and Mister and Jones allegedly got into their vehicle and drove toward the Tomcos, injuring both of them.
Dale Tomco was treated and released from Calvert Memorial Hospital shortly after the assault.ย Raymond Tomco was initially flown to the P.G. Shock Trauma Center but later transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment of his critical injuries.
The two men were tracked down through the carnival company they worked for. Jones was apprehended while working at the Harney Volunteer Fire Dept Carnival in Carroll County.
Mister was located hiding in the basement of a family memberโs residence in Frederick.ย Both suspects are currently being held at the Calvert County Detention Center on bond; Mister has a $200,000 bond and Jones is being held on a $100,000.
