On January 2, 2011, Police responded to a residence in Lexington Park for the report of a Home Invasion/Robbery.
The victim reported unknown subjects forced entry to his residence, assaulted him and stole various items from the residence before fleeing on foot. The St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations responded and assumed the investigation.
On January 25, 2011, two African American juvenile’s, ages 16 and 17, were arrested and charged with second-degree assault and theft.
The 16 year old juvenile was released to his parents pending further action by juvenile authorities. The 17 year old is being held at the Cheltenham Youth Facility pending further action by juvenile authorities.
