As of 10:30 a.m., the HAZMAT situation at St. Mary’s College has been scaled back to four fire units on the scene. Units are still in the clean-up process. No injuries have been reported at this time.
Units from at least six fire and rescue companies have been called to the St. Mary’s College of Maryland campus, Good Pastor Hall, in response on a hazardous materials emergency: a mercury spill.
