United Way of Charles County will be hosting their 21st Annual ‘Day of Caring’ event on September 3, 2015. The event has been a community tradition since 1995 where Partner Agencies are able to have volunteers come in and take care of some of their needs.
This year we have 14 agencies with over 20 projects that need to be completed requiring over 150 volunteers. Some of the projects available this year are landscaping, painting, meal deliveries and various construction type needs to name a few. The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a light breakfast before heading out to your desired location. “Live United” tee shirts are available to everyone that volunteers.
