Washington, DC – Tropical Storm Joaquin (Pronounced: wah-KEEN) is several hundred miles east of the Bahamas. The storm is expected to move closer to the Mid-Atlantic over the next several days. The details of how significantly, and even if, that storm will impact the Mid Atlantic will become clearer as the week progresses. If it does impact the area, a period of time within late Friday through Monday is most likely.
