La Plata, MD—All paws on deck! This weekend, Oct. 7 and 8, commemorates Mutt Madness at the Charles County Fairgrounds. Held by the Humane Society of Charles County, Mutt Madness is a celebration of mixed breed and pure-bred dogs alike, proclaiming a love for canines of all kinds!
Mutt Madness is an outdoor event that will have food and craft vendors, games, contests, and so much more. Both days of the event will have a “Tennis Ball Drop” contest with fantastic grand prizes for each day. If you win the ball drop on Saturday, you’ll receive two tickets to a Washington Capitals game, and on Sunday you’ll receive two tickets with a parking pass to a Redskins game!
This festival is dog-friendly, and there will be fun for you and your furry companion! Entrance fee is only $5 for people 12 years and older, young children and dogs get in free! All proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Charles County. Bring your kids and your dogs out to celebrate man’s best friend!
