Woman Arrested After Punching Man in the Face

On November 26, 2011, at approximately 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a residence on Richey Road,

Leonardtown, Maryland, for a report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed Amanda Lynn Abell, 29,

of Leonardtown, Maryland, became involved in a dispute with the victim which escalated into a physical

assault when Abell punched the victim on the face causing injury to his nose. Deputy Rogers arrested

Abell and charged her with second degree assault.
