Update Nov.13, 7:55 p.m.
TheBayNet received an update on the status of the young steer that was loose for the past week in Calvert County.
“I wanted to update you. The steer has been caught and locked up on our farm,” said Mary Bowen who is the owner of the steer.
“Thank you [community] for all your support it is appreciated,” said Bowen.
Update Nov.7, 4 p.m.
TheBayNet reached out to Mr.Bowen to receive any updates on the steer’s whereabouts.
Mr.Bowen informed TheBayNet that the steer has not yet been located and he is asking the public to continue helping locate the animal.
The steer went missing Nov. 5, sometime in the evening. The Bowen family is being assisted by Calvert Count Sheriff’s Office in the search for the steer.
