At 11:45 pm, on Thursday, January 4, Tpr. McCartney responded to the 26000 block of Loveville Road in Mechanicsville to serve a bench warrant for failing to appear on traffic charges. Contact was made with the defendant, Garett Alphonso Fenwick, 42, of Mechanicsville and he was placed under arrest.
Further investigation revealed Mr. Fenwick was in possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Fenwick was arrested for the charges on the warrant in addition to possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.
Mr. Fenwick was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center in Leonardtown pending a bond review.
