CSM 12th Annual Grant Training Seminar. 9 a.m.-noon, Aug. 25, College of Southern Maryland, La Plata Campus, Center for Business and Industry (BI Building), Room 113, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. CSM’s 12th Annual Grant Training Seminar, “Laying the Groundwork for Data-Driven Success,” will feature U.S. Census Bureau Data Dissemination Specialist Nesreen Khashan sharing access and use key U.S. Census data sources essential for grant research.
A portion of this interactive training will be conducted in a computer lab, and participants should be familiar with operating a computer. Seminar sponsors include CSM, Charles County Government, Maryland Governor’s Grants Office, Charles County Charitable Trust, Charles County Public Schools, Charles County Public Library and CSM’s Nonprofit Institute.
