LA PLATA, Md. — An 86-year-old man was injured in a single-vehicle crash Thursday night in Charles County.
Emergency crews responded to the crash around 9:12 p.m. on January 30, 2025, on Port Tobacco Road near Durham Pointe Place, where they found a vehicle off the roadway with the driver trapped inside.
Firefighters worked quickly to extricate the man within 15 minutes. Paramedics evaluated him at the scene before transporting him to the UM Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
