Firefighters Contain Blaze At Waldorf Home; Occupants Safe, No Injuries Reported

WALDORF, Md., – On April 19, 2025, at approximately 5:27 p.m., fire units were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 2000 block of Tred Avon Court in Waldorf, Maryland. Responding crews discovered a fire at the rear of a home that extended into the attic and roof area. Occupants were evacuated safely. Multiple firefighting units responded, containing the blaze, conducting extensive checks, and performing ventilation operations. The fire was brought under control and fully extinguished. No injuries were reported, and the homeowner was able to remain at the residence.
