On Tuesday, March 17, at 8:57 p.m., James Robert Wilson, 23 of Charlotte Hall, was arrested by Tpr. G. Thompson for possession of marijuana and theft under $100.
Tpr. G. Thompson responded to the Food Lion in Charlotte Hall for the reported theft in progress. Wilson was observed exiting a residence on Mt. Wolfe Road in Charlotte Hall after a broadcast was given. Wilson fled into the woods and was later apprehended by Deputy J. Vezzosi. Mr. Wilson was turned over to Tpr. Thompson. A search of his person revealed he was in possession of marijuana and he was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
