At 4:07 p.m. Dec. 12, Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad members responded to a crash between a SUV and a tractor at Demko Road on Route 235.

Ridge Deputy Fire Chief Eddie Raley reports that Chief 4 arrived on the scene within five minutes and reported there was one minor injury.

Ridge Engine 42 arrived shortly after and secured the battery on the vehicle.

The vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tractor parked at the end of Demko Road. No one was operating the tractor at the time.
