PORT TOBACCO, Md. — A golf cart rollover in a residential area of Port Tobacco prompted a swift response from emergency crews Tuesday afternoon, after a young teen was reportedly ejected and unable to feel his legs.
Charles County first responders were dispatched just after noon on April 15, 2025, to the 8200 block of Potobac Landing Road following a 911 call from a parent who reported that her son had called from a friend’s house saying the cart had flipped and he couldn’t move his lower body.
Medical crews assessed the patient on scene and transported him to the UM Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata with non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances leading to the rollover remain under investigation.

There’s no golf course anywhere near there. Tis the season for yuppie lushes and their children to hit the streets in golf carts.
