Kitchen Fire In Leonardtown Quickly Contained With No Injuries

LEONARDTOWN, Md. — A small kitchen fire was quickly contained at a home in Leonardtown on April 2, 2026, with no injuries reported.

Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 11:23 a.m. to the 41400 block of Breton Beach Road for a reported residential structure fire.

All occupants had evacuated the home prior to the arrival of firefighters. Crews located a small grease fire in the kitchen and brought the situation under control.

As a precaution, propane, solar panels, and electrical power to the home were secured.

No injuries were reported.
