HOLLYWOOD, Md. – The National Weather Service reports that strong winds will continue throughout the Southern Maryland region until Saturday, March 3. As of 12:52 p.m. SMECO has reported 1,201 active outages with 22,396 total customers effected. The county breakdown of outages is as follows:

Calvert: 2,652

Charles: 8,146

Prince George’s: 5,671

St. Mary’s: 5,926
