
CHAPTICO, Md. – A second rollover crash within minutes in St. Mary’s County resulted in no reported injuries.
The accident occurred on March 23, 2024, at approximately 2:35 p.m. Emergency personnel responded to the scene on Maddox Road, near Christ Episcopal Church, following reports of a serious motor vehicle accident with one occupant possibly trapped.

Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle off the roadway that had overturned and struck a utility pole. Despite the seriousness of the accident, there was no entrapment. The two occupants of the vehicle were evaluated on the scene and reportedly uninjured.
A similar crash occurred on St. Andrews Church Road near FDR Boulevard at 2:15 p.m.
