CALIFORNIA, Md. – On March 23, 2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., emergency personnel responded to St. Andrews Church Road in the area of FDR Boulevard for a serious motor vehicle accident.
Crews arrived on the scene and found a Ford Explorer overturned in the median with occupants trapped. Firefighters extricated the occupants from the vehicle and turned them over to EMS for care. All occupants were reportedly uninjured.
St. Andrews Church Road southbound at FDR Blvd. will be temporarily closed due to the motor vehicle accident.
While crews were still clearing the scene, another single motor vehicle accident was reported in Chaptico.
