Prince Frederick, MD – Fire and rescue officials in Calvert County report Sunday evening, Oct. 4, at 8:45 p.m., a water rescue was conducted due to flooding conditions at Hallowing Point Trailer Park. The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department (Company 2) reports several people were trapped in their residences. Several units were dispatched to Hallowing Lane. Units arrived to find a trailer park with nine units in flood waters. The Patuxent River overflowed into the trailer park at Hallowing Point due to storms in the area the past few days.

Company Two reports a total of 14 people were removed from their residences, and were assisted by Red Cross. Fifteen other occupants refused to leave their homes. Company 2 units operated for just under two hours.
