On Jan. 9, at 8:25 a.m., Trooper Donaldson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on northbound Route 4 at Nursery Road.
An odor of marijuana was detected and a search revealed marijuana in the vehicle. Justin A. Pope, 19 of Brandywine, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
