ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY – The Arc SoMD is happy to announce its expansion into Anne Arundel County (AAC), we now serve four counties and are proud to unite our mission across Southern Maryland and AAC.

This expansion follows the transition of The Arc Central Chesapeake Region into a new independent entity, Fello, leaving AAC and the Eastern Shore without an Arc chapter dedicated to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In response, The Arc Maryland invited chapters across the state to propose plans for expanding into AAC and we are thrilled to share that our proposal was accepted.
