Deputy W. Rector responded to a reported theft of sunglasses on September 23 in Dunkirk. The victim inadvertently left her Kate Spade sunglasses on the counter of a restaurant around 12:40 pm; when she returned to retrieve them, they were gone.

On September 23 at approximately 8:00 am, Deputy P. Aurich responded to a report of a theft of four (4) tires from a business on Southern MD Boulevard in Dunkirk. The investigation is continuing.

Theft Case #15-51681
Deputy J. Hardesty responded to Gordon Stinnett Avenue in Chesapeake Beach for the report of items stolen from an unlocked boat. Rod and reels, a fish finder, batteries, radio, Bimini closure and GPS unit were all taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Hardesty.

Between September 20 – 21, during the overnight hours of 7:30 pm – 8:27 am, someone broke into a work trailer parked on Running Fox Road in Lusby and removed rolls of cable and LED lights. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy G. Gott.
