SOUTHERN MARYLAND — Valentine’s Day weekend has arrived, and communities across Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties are marking the occasion with everything from dance parties and wellness nights to live music, educational programs and family-friendly fun.
At the same time, Black History Month observances continue throughout the region, offering opportunities to reflect, learn and celebrate local and national history. Living history performances, lectures and student showcases are adding depth to a weekend otherwise filled with hearts, roses and Galentine’s gatherings.
