HUGHESVILLE, Md. — On Saturday, July 19, 2025, a two-vehicle collision in Hughesville sent three people to a trauma center following a late-night crash that drew a swift response from emergency personnel.

The incident occurred around 11:26 p.m. at the intersection of Prince Frederick Road and Orchard View Road. Emergency crews arriving on scene found a T-bone style collision with significant damage to both vehicles. All occupants had already exited the vehicles by the time responders arrived.

Medical personnel assessed the scene and requested an additional transport unit after determining that three individuals required hospitalization. All three were taken by ground to a nearby trauma center for treatment.

The scene was turned over to the Maryland State Police for further investigation.
