
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Fire and rescue crews responded early Friday morning after a crash led to two vehicles catching fire on Society Hill Road in Leonardtown.
The crash was reported around 2:40 a.m. on June 26, 2026, in the 21900 block of Society Hill Road.
Initial reports indicated the caller had been involved in a vehicle crash and reported no injuries, but advised that fire had started underneath one of the vehicles.
Emergency crews were then advised that the burning vehicle was threatening other vehicles in the driveway.
Engine 11 arrived and found two vehicles on fire as a result of the crash. Firefighters brought the fire under control, and the patient refused EMS services.
Engine 11, Squad 1, Chief 1A and Engine 73 operated on the scene for about 30 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
