Navy Band Country Current Performance Prince Frederick

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. The United States Navy Band Country Current, the Navy’s premier country-bluegrass ensemble, will perform live at Calvert Library Prince Frederick on Thursday, April 24, 2025. The free concert will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Combined Meeting Rooms 1, 2 and 3.

This family-friendly performance is open to all ages and promises a high-energy evening of music. Known for their blend of modern country and traditional bluegrass, the seven-member ensemble features multi-instrumentalists with professional backgrounds in Nashville, New York, New Orleans and beyond. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Country Current is nationally recognized for its musical versatility and has earned a reputation for “eye-popping” musicianship. Attendees can expect a dynamic show featuring fast-picking solos, vocal harmonies and a wide range of acoustic instruments.

The concert is part of Calvert Library’s commitment to offering engaging cultural events for the local community.
