At 6:23 pm on Saturday, December 23, TFC Trossbach was patrolling on St. John’s Road in the area of  Cedar Lane in Hollywood when he observed an ATV 4 wheeler traveling on the roadway. 

A routine traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the operator, William Howard Burns, 53, of Hollywood. 

Further investigation revealed Mr. Burns’ driver’s license was suspended and revoked.  He was arrested for driving on a suspended and revoked license.  A search revealed Mr. Burns was in possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia.  

Burns was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
