Woman attempted to run four people off the road

On July 3, 2015, Deputy Bare responded to a residence in the 27000 block of Mechanicsville Road, for a fight in progress.

The investigation revealed, suspect Samantha Joell Faucette, age 24, of Mechanicsville, attempted to run the victim’s vehicle off of the road.

There were 4 occupants inside the victim’s vehicle at the time of the incident. When the victim stopped to confront Faucette, she struck the victim in the face with her fist.

Faucette was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. She was charged with 2nd Degree Assault, and 4 COUNTS of Reckless Endangerment.
