The Department of Defense today identified another Marylander killed in Iraq:
Army Pvt. Eric M. Kavanagh, 20, of Glen Burnie, died of injuries suffered in Baghdad on Sept. 20, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during combat operations.
Kavanagh was assigned to 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Schweinfurt, Germany.
