Armed Robbery Reported At Sheetz Gas Station In California, Md.

CALIFORNIA, Md. – Maryland State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred around 1:07 a.m. on May 25, 2025, at the Sheetz gas station on Three Notch Road in California.

Troopers from the Leonardtown Barrack responded to the scene after employees reported that a man entered the store, brandished a handgun, and demanded cash.

According to police, the suspect—described as a Black male wearing a gray shirt, camouflage bandana over his face, and jeans—stole more than $300 from the register, along with a Twix candy bar, before fleeing the area on foot.

The direction of the suspect’s flight is unknown, and no injuries were reported.
