PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. Brick Wood Fired Bistro is celebrating 10 years of business in Prince Frederick. The bistro first opened its doors in 2015.

Since opening, the bistro has served up modern American cuisine, working to combine classic flavors of the Chesapeake Bay with regions around the world. The restaurant is sleek and modern, and serves local, fresh and seasonally inspired food. It’s currently one of the most popular spots in Calvert County and has been recognized by tourists and local foodies alike as one of the top spots in the region.

Owner and general manager Jason Nagers created the concept and opened the restaurant with his family to bring a fun and modern restaurant to their hometown while maintaining a local feel. The result is Brick Wood Fired Bistro, a contemporary restaurant that honors Calvert County’s history and vast local network of farmers, brewers, fishermen and more.

Jordan and Jason Nagers shared their thoughts about the milestone in an emailed statement to The BayNet.

“Reaching our 10-year anniversary is an incredible milestone for us. Over the past decade, we’ve loved watching our community grow around good food, laughter and connection. What makes this journey truly special is the people — our guests, our staff, and our friends and family — who have supported us every step of the way. Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue creating memorable experiences, exploring new flavors and giving back to the community that has given us so much.”

Brick Wood Fired Bistro is located at 60 Sherry Lane in Prince Frederick. They are open from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays. The restaurant offers Sunday brunch and live music every Wednesday.

  1. Honestly a miracle that place is still around. Worse food than microwaved Applebees entrees but triple the price
