On Sept. 1, St. Mary’s Deputies responded to a reported Domestic Assault in the Norris Circle area of Leonardtown. Police investigation revealed that Thomas Alvin Campbell, 37 of Leonardtown, had entered the residence of his Ex-girlfriend and began assaulting her.
Witnesses advised that the victim yelled for Campbell to leave the residence, but the assault continued.
Deputy Jeremy Green arrested Campbell and charged him with Assault in the Second Degree with additional charges pending.
On Sept. 2, Deputy Timothy Butler responded to St. Mary’s Hospital to make contact with a female who was the victim of a Domestic Assault. The investigation revealed that the victim had been assaulted by her husband, Joseph Carroll Darnall, 3rd, 32 of Hollywood, during an argument.
Deputy Butler arrested Joseph Darnall and charged him with Assault in the Second Degree.
