On June 12, at 11:30 p.m., Austin Gabriel Burnopp, 26 of Severn, was observed being disorderly and fell from the stands at the Budds Creek race track in Mechanicsville.
Security officer approached Burnopp and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from Burnopp’s breath. He was instructed to leave the grounds because of his disorderly actions. Moments later, Burnopp was observed attempting to re-enter the grounds and was causing a disturbance. He was taken into custody by the security officer until Tpr. E. Page arrived at the scene and placed Burnopp under arrest.
Burnopp was then transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
