SMECO is en route to shut off the utilities. Crews are clearing the scene and going back in service.

Rescue crews are on the scene of a building collapse at the Quality Moving and Storage facility in Lexington Park.

Crews were dispatched to report of a collapse around 9:40 a.m., on Feb. 6 after the collapse triggered the building and fire alarms to go off.

The building was not occupied at the time of the collapse. No injuries were reported.
