LUSBY, Md. – On January 6, 2019 Deputy Freeland responded to the Giant in Lusby for the report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival he made contact with the suspect, Bruce Craig Bluteau (49), who was hunched over the ATM screaming that he was God. Because a crowd started to gather around, Bluteau was detained. After detaining him, Bluteau refused to comply with Deputy Freeland’s orders and continued to be disorderly. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.
