On August 8, two individuals were leaving a party on Boundary Drive in Mechanicsville, when they were chased to their vehicle by Robert Clayton Walnetski, 27 of Mechanicsville and David Edward Edinger, Jr., 25 of Mechanicsville.
The individuals/victims were able to get into their vehicle. Walnetski and Edinger threatened to assault the victims and attempted to open their car doors. When Walnetski and Edinger could not open the doors they banged on the car causing dents in the vehicle and a broken the side door mirror. The victims were able to drive away, report the assault and describe Walnetski and Edinger.
Deputies responded to Boundary Drive, located and arrested Walnetski and Edinger.
Both were charged with second-degree assault and destruction of property.
