May 14th 2019 – The Department of Planning and Growth Management Planning Division is implementing a new application intake procedure, in order to move projects forward more efficiently and reduce review time. Applicants will be required to participate in a Pre-Submittal Conference before submitting their applications. This will allow applicants to explore project viability and discuss major codes and ordinance requirements, fees, and review timeframes. Staff can also answer questions, highlight concerns, or provide guidance during this time.
The Pre-Submittal Conference is required for applications pertaining to Subdivision, Special Exceptions, Variances, Zoning Text and Map Amendments, Planned Development Zone Applications, and Final Plats of Major Subdivisions. Pre-Submittal Conferences are held in 30-minute increments on Wednesday mornings.
