Purveyors of St. Mary’s County’s tourism sites, attractions, dining and lodging establishments, marinas, charter boats and hospitality industries are invited to attend a local tourism industry breakfast meeting on June 4 from 7:30 AM to 11 AM, at the J. T. Daugherty Conference Center in Lexington Park.
The program will include planning for Maryland’s 375th birthday in 2009. As St. Mary’s County is the state’s birthplace, our county shares the state’s birthday. The program will also include a discussion of group tour opportunities by Rich Gilbert of the Maryland Office of Tourism and a presentation on the state of local tourism.
The meeting is hosted by St. Mary’s County’s Tourism Division, Historic St. Mary’s City, and Maryland Life Magazine. Seating is limited and advance reservations are required.
