Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Southern Maryland

…THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN ST. MARYS COUNTY

HAS EXPIRED…
The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore the warning has been allowed to expire.  However small
hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southern Maryland.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Sterling Virginia.

HOLLYWOOD, Md. – A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued from 1:50 p.m. EDT Friday until 10:00 p.m. Counties included are Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, St. Mary’s, Washington, and Baltimore City.
