On Feb. 7, atย 12:12ย a.m., while patrolling in the Wildewood Subdivision, St. Mary’s DFC Charles Dodson approached a black SUV which was traveling in the opposite direction on Wildewood Parkway.ย  As Dodson passed the SUV he heard what sounded like a collision against the driverโ€™s side of his vehicle.ย 

Dodson immediately turned around while the SUV accelerated away and made a quick turn into a complex parking lot while attempting to elude him.ย  The vehicle was stopped and while exiting his vehicle during the stop Dodson noticed egg yolk on the driverโ€™s side rear door and window.ย  The four juvenile occupants (Male – 17, M – 16, M – 16, M – 16 all of Leonardtown) were detained.ย 

Located inside the suspect vehicle were three cartons of eggs (25 eggs missing), a roll of toilet paper and three aluminum bats. The suspects were placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriffโ€™s Office for processing.ย  DFC. Dodsonโ€™s vehicle sustained minor damage (paint chipping) during the incident.ย  The juvenile stated they did not realize it was police car when the egg was thrown.
