Charles County, Md. — The Tri-County Animal Shelter is working with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and Charleston Animal Society in South Carolina to relocate 65 dogs from the shelter before Hurricane Matthew strikes the Southeast coast. The Tri-County Animal Shelter is a HSUS Placement Partner and will be receiving nine of these dogs.
The dogs are Hound mixes, Terrier mixes, and Labrador Retriever mixes that range in age from eight weeks to eight years.
