On Nov. 7, at 12:49 a.m., Sean Demetrius Yates, 36 of Hollywood, was arrested by Tpr. G. A. Thompson for possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia.
Yates was operating a black Plymouth Breeze on south bound Three Notch Road when he was stopped at Old Rolling Road in California for failing to stop at a stop sign. Upon contact with Yates, an odor of Marijuana was emitting from the vehicle. He initially provided a false name to avoid arrest on two outstanding warrants through the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department and the Prince Georges County Police Department.
Yates was found to be in possession of two baggies of Marijuana. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.
