PASADENA, Md. — In the days following a tragic pedestrian crash that claimed the life of a young Pasadena woman, the community has come together to support her grieving family, raising more than $8,000 through a GoFundMe campaign.
Victoria Lee Remmey, 23, died after being struck by a car on Catherine Avenue near 231st Street on the evening of April 24, 2025. Police said Remmey stepped off the sidewalk into the southbound lane and was hit by a 2010 Nissan Altima. She was transported to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where she succumbed to her injuries early Friday.
Now, family and friends are remembering Remmey as a kind-hearted woman whose infectious smile and compassion touched countless lives.
“Tori was a beautiful soul inside and out,” her family wrote on the fundraising page. “She loved all the babies—from her boyfriend’s daughter to her nephew to the little ones she cared for at the childcare center where she worked.”
The fundraiser describes the heartbreak of losing a daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend, with loved ones expressing gratitude for the community’s prayers and support.
Donations will help ease the financial burden on Remmey’s family as they navigate the days ahead. Organizers said they are overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity, with contributions continuing to come in.
Anne Arundel County Police’s Crash Reconstruction Team is continuing its investigation into the circumstances of the fatal collision.
